Most of us think of love as some sort of enchanted feeling. The reason why life is worth living or the almighty conquers of hate. And in a perfect world we could run away with this mythical reality. We imagine that this sacred bond between men and women can some how be as perfect as what we’ve seen in the movies.
The truth is if the type of love that the majority of us experience were a movie, we would probably walk out during the previews.
There is no question that love is powerful and in its purest form, the greatest source of good. The problem is imperfections of people who abuse its power. For every wholesome woman there is a Cleopatra. For every honest man there is Casanova. Love is the strength of our families. Unfortunately, it is also the #1 reason why women say that they stay in abusive relationships.
Love =S control. IT IS A WEAPON and should only be given with caution. There is NO GREATER GIFT. Giving someone control of your heart means giving them control over you. Disappointment of love is why some choose not to love at all. However, if you are like me and still believe that pure love is possible in a tainted world. Take my advice. NEVER FALL FIRST

ReplyDeleteI'm definitely gonna be following your blog. Very well written, and engaging...keep it goin.
ReplyDeleteCool-You're getting all literary! I do, however, think sometimes you have to be brave enough to fully express your love for the other person. Often times, we hold back out of fear of being hurt and end up losing the person and the love due to our perceived inability or unwillingness to commit. It's a tricky thing, that love.
